Year 2 had an incredible time heading back to Colchester, this time to help apply and further their learning on castles! They had a fabulous day and impressed everyone with how much they had remembered from their history lessons! They had the opportunity to explore the castle on a guided tour, visit the museum and its interactive displays, as well as take part in a teacher led acitvity to develop their understanding of the roles of people who would have lived in a medieval castle. It also gave them the opportunity to have a sneek peak at some of the things they will be learning about in Key Stage 2! As always, they did an excellent job of representing Clockhouse in the wider community. Everyone was certainly very tired, but very happy, upon their return! The adults included!
