Outdoor Classroom Day

Outdoor Classroom Day

About this activity

Suitable for all schools and nurseries.

NB: We’re bringing together all the TfL education programmes, including STARS, under one exciting new umbrella programme called TfL Travel for Life. They will be the same great programmes, but with a new name and a new look, easier online process and dedicated support team. STARS for primary schools will be renamed TfL Explorers. STARS for secondary schools will be renamed TfL Pioneers.

Join the global Outdoor Classroom Day campaign so your pupils can experience the benefits of outdoor learning and play.

Outdoor Classroom Day is an annual event that takes place in May and aims to get as many children as possible outside for at least one lesson in the school day and for playtimes to be celebrated. You can take part as a class or get your whole school involved!

Find out the date for the next Outdoor Classroom Day and register your school to take part on the campaign’s website.
