STARS Seminars

Every year we host a series of virtual seminars across London. We aim to provide a platform for young people to share their experiences and ideas for a more sustainable future!

The seminars are a chance to learn more about the programme and how to deliver it successfully in your school as well as share ideas with other schools.

During these virtual sessions, you will learn about innovative ideas that can be taken away to adapt and deliver at your school.  This will be an excellent opportunity for you to empower your peers whilst developing your leadership skills at the same time.

If you're a registered school, you will be invited to one of the virtual regional seminars via an email from your borough officer in the Autumn term.

Find out more on the Attend a TfL or borough school travel event Activity card where you can see the materials from last years seminars to use in your own classroom. The materials include resources to help identify healthy routes to school and help to improve air quality.

Watch this video to see highlights of past seminars and hear first-hand from pupils and teachers about how these events inspire future activities in school.

We are now hosting a ‘School Champions live' Support Session every Wednesday between 4:00-4:30.  This offers School Champions the opportunity to talk to the new team and ask for support with any technical issues, any upload problems or simply to ask for guidance with stories.  We hope this offers new School Champions a regular opportunity for support.

Please click here to express an interest in attending our live sessions.  We will then forward the meeting invite (which will be a recurring weekly meeting).
