STARS Seminars
STARS will be hosting a series of virtual seminars across London in 2021-2022. We aim to provide a platform for young people to share their STARS experiences and ideas for a more sustainable future!

The STARS seminars are normally held in the Autumn term and are an exciting opportunity to network with other schools on the day. They are interactive and will provide your staff and pupils with the opportunity to exchange ideas and plan new, exciting activities and learn more about STARS. Our aim in 2021-2022 is to provide the same networking opportunities but via virtual sessions.
During these virtual sessions, you will learn about innovative ideas that can be taken away to adapt and deliver at your school. This will be an excellent opportunity for you to enpower your peers whilst developing your leadership skills at the same time.
If you're a STARS registered school, you will be invited to one of the virtual regional seminars via an email from your borough officer in the Autumn term.
Find out more on the Attend a TfL or borough school travel event Activity card where you can see the materials from last years seminars to use in your own classroom. The materials include resources to help identify healthy routes to school and help to improve air quality.
Watch this video to see highlights of past seminars and hear first-hand from pupils and teachers about how these events inspire future STARS activity in school.
STARS are now hosting a 'School Champions live' Support Session every Wednesday between 4:00-4:30. This offers School Champions the opportunity to use our STARS team to support with any technical issues, any upload problems or simply to ask for guidance with stories. We hope this offers new School Champions a regular opportunity for STARS support.
Please click here to express an interest in attending our live sessions. We will then forward the meeting invite (which will be a recurring weekly meeting).
