The children were given a lesson on road safety and the parking poster competition was presented to the children in each class from reception to year 6. During the lesson, we discussed why it was important for parents and members of the public to follow the parking rules. Children shared ideas on how they could help by reminding parents and carers not to park in unauthorised places.  A winning poster from each year group was chosen and announced in the whole school assembly. The winning posters have been put up on the gates outside of the school where parking is prohibited.
