Year 1 children went on a school trip to the local library. This was as part of their learning journey to encourage reading for pleasure, promoting a lifelong love of reading, and supporting our local community, 

The children walked to the library. During the class visit, either library staff or class teachers provided information about how to use the library facilities, and the children had the opportunity to read and share a range of books and stories.
