We applied for a small grant and were awarded £650 towards roads safety play equipment.  We used the grant to purchase role play equipment for our Reception outside space.  We took advantage of a lovely dry afternoon to give the children a chance to practice their road safety skills by using the equipment.  This was also combined with the children being able to use our balance bikes.  They had a great time and were supported by staff to use the equipment in the correct way.  We are looking forward to using it more as the weather improves.
