Our story

Get ready to put on your walking shoes because 'Walk to School Week' is back! From 20 May to 24 May, we are asking all pupils and families to leave their cars at home and embrace the benefits of walking. During this time, we will be encouraging girls to be more active and mindful of the environment by choosing to cycle, scoot, catch a train/bus, or even walk to School. This year's theme of Living Streets is ‘The Magic of Walking’. Throughout this theme, children will learn that by walking to School we have a special opportunity to explore the magic of nature, movement, happiness, friendship and community along the way. For more information on this year's theme, visit https://www.livingstreets.org.uk/walk-to-school/primary-schools/walk-to-school-week/
