Sustrans Big Walk and Wheel is the UK’s largest inter-school walking, wheeling, scooting and cycling to school challenge. It inspires pupils to make active journeys to school, to improve air quality in the neighbourhood and discover how these changes benefit their world.

WCPS promotes active travel and fosters sustainable habits among school children. We are participating with other schools in our area.

Our class ambassadors enjoyed recording the number of pupils taking part each day. Our Year 2 pupils recorded the most journeys made. Our overall position in the challenge was 496.
