The Eco Warriors launched The Big Walk and Wheel on Monday to Years 1-6, explaining the benefits of active travel and smaller details of how Dundonald would participate in this challenge. It was also promoted in the school newsletter, giving contact details for queries related to inclusivity as we wanted to make sure every child could participate. Each day, teachers recorded how their class travelled to school and two children who made an active journey recieved a token. Each child with a token was put into a raffle and prizes were drawn in assembly.

At the date of writing this, we are currently in 73rd position in the large primary schools category.
