Poster's from Sustrans were put up around the school and the children were informed in assemblies that they had to get as many children in their class to Walk and Wheel to school for two weeks. The reward we set up was that the class with the most walkers and wheelers would win a raffle ticket each for their whole class. We use raffle tickets as a way to win prizes. 

I then also planned one of the sustrans lessons for each Year group to complete. The children got really involved and were keen to be the class with the most active travellers.
