We have been part of Eco Schools since early 2023 and have been accredited the distinction award in July 2023. We shared this information with the parents and have our Eco Schools flag waving at the front of the nursery. The Eco committee supporting the setting by taking on challenges, assessing the setting for improvements and helping to spread the Eco word with their local community, involving them by sharing posters and information supporting change. We are applying for the Eco Schools distinction again this year and are focusing on Marine, Biodiversity and continuing to focus on Litter. The children have a deep understanding of Eco Schools and we share information weekly with parents through activity guides, competitions and social media pages.
