Today, Year 2  were visited by the Wizard Theatre company. They delivered a play to the children about different ways that we journey to school.

The actors were very funny and so were their jokes, especially when we had our workshop and quiz with the very famous channel 5 presenter Wavy Davy! (He's not really famous). 

We learnt lots of interesting facts like: It is not illegal to ride a bike on the road without a helmet, but it is illegal not to have front and back brakes and how many people are allowed to stand on the top deck of the bus?

After the show a workshop focused on the student’s personal school journey. The session raised various questions, addressed potential hazards and delivered important safety messages about road safety.
