As part of geography week, Year 6 have studied the local area and methods of finding distances/routes between places. We have focused on 'points of interest' and tourist attractions, as well as places relevaent to us such as the school annd local park.

We then looked at examples of OS maps and had a go at CREATING OUR OWN, INCLUDING: GRID REFERENCES, KEY SYMBOLS AND CONTOUR LINES.
