London Mayor Project
Acland Burghley School
London Borough of Camden
Our story
To develop and foster a broader knowledge of their city and environmental challenges, a group of year 10 students took part in the London Mayor Project. This was an 8 week project looking at improving Croydon Town centre in parternship with HS2, LVN and QUOD.
Students particpated in workshops across these 8 weeks with industry profesionals and designed their own plans to improve the environemtnal quality of London. Some students focused on creating more walkable and cycliable city/town centres to redcue the reliance on cars within London.
Students presented their ideas to the group and now have an idea on potental careers paths in sustainable travel and cities.
