I have organised 2 dates for both year 1 and 2 pupils to develop their safety awareness skills in order to ensure our children are staying safe when travelling to and from school. The children will be learning how to mount, dismount, stop and manouvre using their scooters safely.  I will be running both events for pupils to help educate them and allow them to grow a little more independent and alert of any hazards around them that they may encounter. 

Seeing as though we have many children who already travel to school with scooters, I am confident that the children will be eager to attend the sessions. 

Both year groups have completed their scooter training with our playground. They really enjoyed the sessions and have asked for there to be more sessions throughout the rest of the year.
