We take full advantage of our fortunate location by providing our pupils with the opportunity to explore the natural and historical wonders of the area. All classes visit the parkland walk on a regular basis to engage in outdoor learning opportunities which we have embedded into our rich curriculum offer.

In addition to the outdoor learning opportunities on offer throughout the academic year, we explore a whole school topic ‘Great Outdoor Explorers’ in the second half of summer term each year. We started this initiative in the summer of 2015 and have continued to develop our outdoor learning offer year on year.
