We have a number of pupils that are identified through their EHCP and parental request to have travel training.  We currently use the Lewisham Independent Travel Training Team and our learning mentor to support the pupils to travel independently. Pupils and parents were invited to a meeting  to do a 12 week travel plan to use public transport to travel to and from school.

Our learning mentor uses the Unit Award Scheme through AQA to show pupils' competency in road safety.

Independent travel training is part of the curriculum and we have currently have 18 pupils who travel independently.

Travel planning is also carried out by our Speech and Language Therapist for all year 11 students.
