Dulwich Village Church of England Infants' School
London Borough of Southwark
Our story
The headteacher, concerned parents and I have formed an Air Quality group due to their concern about pollution near the school as it is a busy intersection with many cars. They have liaised with the PTFA and raised funds in order to plant green screens as a barrier between the school and the road during Love DVIS day (this Saturday) where parents volunteer their time to help the school and will plant the screen in time for Air Quality day The Eco-Council, local councillors and the Air Quality group will do a ribbon cutting ceremony to raise awareness of Air Quality strategies and get parents to pledge not to use the cars during the Air Quality day (see email snippet).
