On 26th May 2023, a parent who is a bike mechanic brought his equipment in and ran a cycle maintenance session, open to all the school community.

Services included brake repair, gear checking, chains lubed, tyres pumped up and other general maintenance issues.

It was a great success. In fact, possibly too successful and the queue was very long - but lots of happy children (and some parents) who had their bikes tuned up.  We plan to run this more regularly, and expand it to be a 'learn bike maintenance' session to teach people the basics for themselves!
