Tackling pollution around our schools is a top priority for Westminster City Council. The new Air Quality Action Plan contains actions for improving Westminster’s air quality, including:

1)    monitoring air quality

2)    raising awareness of air quality

3)    reducing emissions from transport

As part of this Action Plan, the service is delivering air quality audits to look at the pollution in and around the school and develop a detailed action plan to improve the situation. The audit assessed the Nitrogen Dioxide and other particulate matter data around the school and poential actions.  The audits were carried out by WSP
