Investigate the scope for a formal crossing provision at or adjacent to St John’s Wood

Terrace/ Chalbert Street junction to better reflect the existing crossing desire line. This would help reduce potential conflicts between pupils (as well as pedestrians in general) and vehicles. Such measures will also help improve road safety and can be introduced to help with traffic calming. The crossing facilities could be uncontrolled (e.g. pedestrian refuge) or controlled (zebra and puffing crossing). The need for the existing crossing located further west on St John’s Wood Terrace would need to be considered as part of these proposals.
