Explore opportunities to introduce a kerb build-out adjacent to the main entrance on St John’s Wood that is currently occupied by the School Keep Clear markings and used by parents/ guardians to drop-off and pick-up pupils. This would involve increasing the width of the footway and help discourage drop-off activity immediately adjacent to the school entrance, as well as help reduce the dominance of traffic and reduce traffic speed. If progressed, it is recommended that this option is considered with the above and that the design tries to better cater for existing crossing desire lines at the junction with Chalbert Street.
