St Anne’s Terrace/ Circus Road junction – currently facilitates crossing movements for those travelling north-south and east-west via zebra crossings. The Council may wish to explore the merits of upgrading the facilities to a pelican or toucan crossing. The need for this change should be informed once there is a greater understanding of existing crossing movements and traffic travelling through this junction and it will be important to consider the road safety benefits alongside the potential negative air pollution impacts from increased stop-start traffic movement.
