We held a Walk to School Week from 9/10/23 - 13/10/23. We started with an whole school assembly on Friday 6th October to introduce the benefits of walking to school. Some children created Walk to School posters and these were placed around the school building prior to the event. We also emailed a letter to all parents/ carers about the event in the week before. Class teachers did a hands up vote every day to record the number of children who walked to school. We had three winning classes from Reception, KS1 and KS2 who had teh highest amount of walkers from these classes.
