We have sent out a flyer promoting Walk to Nursery on Wednesdays. our aim is simple - to encourage all parents and children to makie walking to nursery a part of their daily routine. This has started today and staff have been talking to children in small groups about walking to school on wednesdays as well as reminding parents about it. This promotion came to and end at the end of term. on having discussions with Magda and Ellie it became clear that this promotion was a success. i was told that nearly every child was working on Wednesdays and it had encouraged them to walk on other days as well. one parent said that it helped her to stop her child from using the buggy.  even in the wet weather children walked with their parents.
