<p>A safe place to cross - activity. the activity sheet was introduce to children and a role play activity was set up on the island using zebra crossings, wooden vehicles and play people. Raksha and Kimrit discussed with the children about finding a safe place to cross and why it was important. Zeb's story was read to the children and the children talked about how they press the button so the cars stop so that they can cross the road. they said they have to wait for the green man to cross the road and can not corss when the red man is there. the children acted out crossing the road using the resources available to them. Raksha and Kimrit both agreed that the children were aware of crossing the road safely either at the lights or the zebra crossing.</p>
