This activity was about teaching children when to stop and go whilst crossing the road it was very similar to musical statues only this time we had music as well as stop and go signs, children were told what to do and had lots of fun dancing when the music was playing and the go sign was up and stopping when they saw the red stop sign and music had stopped. after the activity the children sat in a circle and Kashia spoke to them about the signs and where they may seen similar ones. a couple of children said they see the green means go like the traffic lights and red means stop. i see green man when i cross the road. Kashia spoke to them about the importance of the signs and to hold hands with an adult when crossing the road. children talked about looking for cars before they cross the road cars have to stop when red and go when green we have to stop when red light and wait for green man to cross road.
