We promoted 'Walk to School for Clean Air Day' by sending out flyers and talking to children and parents.  We also promoted the spotify playlist as we have at least one child whose mum encourages him to walk to school while he listens to music on his headphones.  In the lead up to the day a member of SLT stood at the gate to talk to parents that were driving to encourage them to particiapte and allow their children to walk to school.  With the children we read the book 'Air' by Israel Felzenswalb and David Palatnik which prompted lots of conversation about our bodies and particularly a lungs and how important our lungs are for breathing. We created our own flyer to promote the event, see attached, and the other side used a Clean Air Day poster which gave families information about what we can do to help keep our air clean.
