As part of Clean Air Day we used some of the assembly resources from the Clean Air Day pack and put them up in the garden alongside the bikes and scooters.  Magda talked to the children about the importance of clean air and what we can do to make our air cleaner.  This built on the learning from earlier in the week, where the children read the book 'Air' by Israel Felzenswalb and David Palatnik.  Zena said 'sometimes I come in my car and sometimes I come on my scooter'   Dylan said 'I don't have a car so I don't pollute the air....I go on the train'.  Dylan talked a lot about the oxygen and nitrogen that are in the air and at the end of the day he brought his mum to the garden to show her the display and told her all about air pollution.  The children spent the morning riding their bikes and talking about how to keep the air clean.
