In January I took over the role of School Travel Champion and so I attended a STARS surgery to find out what I needed to do and how to encourage acive travel amongst our school community.  Nicky gave me lots of ideas for activities, she talked me through the STARS website and talked me through how to write an activity.  Nicky also sent follow up advice in an email with ideas and activities.  By the end of the surgery I was ready to plan out a timetable of events that encouraged active travel in our school.
