Situation: We signed up for the Big Pedal to encourage children to scoot or cycle all or part of the way to school.  Each class was shown the Big Pedal Powerpoint.  Teachers talked to children about the benefits of scooting or cycling rather than driving to school and classes kept a daily log of children who scooted or cycled to school.Task: We recorded the school's cycle and scooter journeys from 23rd April to 4th MayAction:We entered the cycle and scooter journey's made on The Big Pedal Website.Result:The Big Pedal took the best 5 of our 10 days and entered them into their competition.  On these days our children made a total of 1343 journeys by scooter or bike.  We came 333rd out of nearly 600 schools which entered the competition.
