Residents/parents/staff and pupils have raised concern for many years about the traffic and pedestrian safety at Summerfield Road entrance during school drop and collecting times.  

Ealing Stars nominated school to trial School Safe Street for 6 months.

STP Champion and SLT promototed activity beforehand, recruited volunteers.  Shared Safe Street powerpoints with all children in school and parents via google classroom.  Steward training packs given to volunteersby STP champion.

Children/staff parents noticed visible drop in traffic at entrance.  Residents were pleased .  School hands up survey Sep and Dec noted a 12% increase in walking to school. School hope it becomes a permanant fixture for safety of children using that entrance.
