We decided to support National Clean Air Day as it matches our school's learning value 'Sustainability'.  STC worked with the Eco Team to plan ideas that would be fun and enagage all the children.  We had a 'Bling your bike/scooter' competition and encouraged children to 'Green up' their vehicle in keeping with the 'Go green' for the day theme we had.  The idea was shared in school newsletter in May and a reminder was sent the week of the competion.  Our Eco Team promotred  it in whole school assembly.  There was a high level of participation and 134 bikes/ scooters were ridden to school that day. The Eco Team chose three winning entries and prizes were given in assembly on 20th June.  It was a fun activity and the level of participation has meant we will repeat this ,
