Bike To School Week launched the first week of the last half term in Summer.  The aim is to push the school's agenda to encourage more active, sustainable journeys to school. when the weather is at it's best.  It was decided to have  a bikers breakfast on the last Friday as a reward for all children who cycled / scooted to school.  THe date was sent out in the Summer Term's Diary Dates.  A reminder about it was put in the newsletter before the half term break.   The logistics of the site led the STP to decide all 'bikers' were to come to the lower playground at 10 am to receive a healthy breakfast snack.  The children were informed of this by their teachers on  a daily basis after the decision was agreed in that Tuesday's staff meeting.  The children enjoyed the snack and agreed it should be repeated the next year.
