To promote healthy , sustainable journeys to school the STP decided to sign the school up to Sustran's BIg Walk and Big Wheel challenge.  It is an established National camapaign and the website offers lots of free resources to promote the competition.  Parents and children were informed by a letter from STP and the date was in the list of term dates for Spring 2023.  Staff were also told about the campaign and emailed the link to login to the account set up.  The plan was for pupils to use the interactive whiteboard and tap the relevant picture for their journey to school.  This was a popular activity and worked very well in nursery, however further up the school the IWB was at too high a level.  The results recorded by Sustran's were 2,256 active journeys and we were placed 715th. Lessons have been learnt and STP intends to repeat the challenge next year.
