Class 6F presented an assembly to their parents and 60 pupils about a building developomentb that is happening oppisite our school to build multi  luxury apartments.  It was geography research project that involved traffic surveys and interviewing local people.It was presented as a court trial where the children listed the pros and cons.  They then expressed their own viewpoints and were very clear in stating  a big point against the devlopment was the increased traffic and noise that would occur during the build and after. It was also noted that the bus stop outside the development would be closed during the building phrase which would impact those people who use public transport.  Five months later the STP interviewed 3 of the pupils about their point of view.  They understood the harmful impact of noise and traffic pollution to people's quality of life.
