The summer term is a good time to promote the benefits of active travel.  The STP decided to take part in Ealing's 10 day active travel challenge for the summer.  The date was added to the school calendar in advance and put onto the list of diary dates for the summer term.  All staff were informed about the date before the summer term started and emailed regular reminders.  The bookmarks were given to teachers along with a paper tally chart to keep a record of all the active journeys.  These were given to the STP on the last day of the challenge and the winning class 3M were rewarded and congratulated in the school's newsletter.  There was at otal of 3,745 active journeys.  It will be repeated next year.
