Our school held a Geography Fieldwork Fortnight to encourage all our children to actively engage with their  local area.  Each Yerar group devised a question to investigate.  All year groups then had to travel outside the school either by foot for local work  or used public transport.  Parents were informed about the fortnight and teachers planned lessons.  All classes that used the local environmemnt revised road safetypointers.  Classes using transport revised appropriate travel behaviours and pointers.  It was an interesting and productive fortnight and will be repeated.
