The JTAs delivered a form to each of the teacers who filled out the names of all the children who use their scooters to come to school. A list was compiled, a training date set and letters sent out to the parents telling them when their child should attend training and informing them that they should bring their scooters and a cycle helmet on the day. Mr Gil and Ms Lockwood took the training and from the session ascertained that many of the children are overly confident of how safe they are on the roads when scooting to and from school. This willl need to be addressed in the near future. Ms Lockwood will meet with the JTAs to discuss this futher.
