Prior to a visit by Berekyly Homes for Road Safety Week we discussed with them the fact thet we were having problems stopping drivers parking on the zig zag lines outside of the school. They told us about a competition to design a poster to dissuade drivers from parking where they shouldn't. The travel team decided that entries for the competition should be given to years 4 and 5. Some templates and examples of posters were taken to these year groups and a deadline for the competition given. After the entries came back the Travel Team chose the entries that they likes the best. They could not decide on an overall winner so we consulted with Jags from Berekely Homes again and we all decided that 3 posters would be amalgamated into one. \the banner was made and presented to the winners on May 1st. It has now been displayed on the school fence for all the drivers to see.
