Year 1 teachers wanted to promote active travel along with safety for their children. Scoot fit training was arranged to take place in February 2024. The three teachers participated in the traing sessions and this was followed by CPD to ensure they were confident to later deliver the lessons themselves. The coach came and delivered traing to each class of pupils with the teachers working alongside.

The result is that the children are now confident in riding their scooters safely and their has been an increase in pupils riding to school.
