We wanted to promote walking to school and the benefits of active travel. On the week beginning 26 June 2022, we ran our active travel week, part of this involved a competition to see which form groups and students could log the most steps in a week. The prizes available were £10 amazon vouchers. This proved very effective in encouraging more students to walk to school, particularly in year 7 and 8.
