At our school we noticed a problem of parents parking on the zig zags during pick up/ drop off. We want to make sure that parents are not parking and waiting on the zig zag lines as it is unsafe for other pupils. After school duties for staff members included zebra/crossing duty and their guide for action is added to this story where a part of this is to ensure that parents are not stopping on the zig zags. As a result, we have seen that far fewer drivers stop or park outside the school and have created a safer environment for our pupils.
