Brentisde High School wants to create a more environmentally friendly community. As a school we want to raise awareness that modes of transport can have on the environment therefore reducing cars on the road and encouraging students to take more active modes of transport. This week encouraged students who use cars and buses to get dropped off further away from the school or get of the bus a stop earlier. This was to help prevent congestion around the school both on the roads and by bus stops. Park and Stride week was effective in achieveing this with more students walking even just part of their journey to school.
