S The year 7s were involved in an activity day where they were made aware of safer travel to school, more sustainable travel to school and the benefits of walking more

T The aim of the obstacle course was to persuade the Year 7s to walk more especially to school but equally how to stay safe on the roads

A The YTAs did the obstacle course with the Year 7s and recorded all the results

R The students experienced in a practical way how distractions affected their awareness and prevented them from thinking properly. They took away the message that electronic devices are a distraction for pedestrians and they pledged to be more aware when out and about.
