S As the days are longer and warmer we wanted to do something to encourage staff to be more active so we launched the steps count challenge. This was an opportunity for staff to get involved and become fit at the same time.

T This was to encourage staff to walk as much as possible over a five day period. It was also to inform them of the benefits of walking.

A The aim is to get as many staff walking as much as possible and also talking to students about their challenge.

R Some staff will be more active during these 5 days and they will feel much better mentally and physically. hopefully they will continue to be active afterwards.
