In partnership with the local firefighters, a group of our younger learners were invited to visit the fire station and role play being a firefighter. We walked to the station and the firefighters were identified as being safe strangers. They spoke to our group about their roles not just to put out fires but also to help at road traffic accidents. they let us listen to the siren and some in our group admitted it could be a scary sound.  We had a talk about how to be safe at home and on the road.
