We wanted to promote independant travel to the local shops by bus but some students have more complex needs than others. To help students to do this, we contacted buisnesses/organistions around offering oportunities for our young people (16+) to create a Safe shop stop for independent travellers scheme. A shop situated by travel points (e10 bus stop/Northolt Stations/ 395 route etc)  would provide support for the travellers if they required it (checking the time of the next bus, letting them know about any delays or contacting College for other needs).  These letter were disruptued in January and we are working with shops to out this in place.
