We wanted to teach our students about the importance of road safety on their active journey to school. The Riot Act produce a production on dangers of distractions in relation to road safety. Due to pandemeic this is being delivered online by class teachers to allow students needs to be met and support inclusivity.

3 classes  attended 3 sessions and watched the production, followed by discussion work. 

The feedback showed that many students hadn’t considered the dangers around using their phone when out in the community.  Teachers were surprised by this, accepting that the limitations on students with the pandemic meant they were not out as much and were on their phones more.  Concerned teachers decided to hold a follow up lesson on this matter and students are now more aware.
