Following up the Riot act productions, teachers felt further time was needed to recall green cross code and general road safety.  Students were asked  to recall the behaviours, distractions and outcomes that happened in the play, this was done by using a worksheet.  They proceeded to get students to explore the issues around phones and safety in short activities an example of this;  They got students to put music on using headphones, then played clips of horns, road noise etc. so students could experience what volume they needed to have their headphones in order to be safe.  Concluding it was safest to have only one headphone in maybe while travelling.

Since this teachers have reported seeing more students with one or no headphones in when they are arriving to school and college sites.
